Congratulations on having an upcoming Vol student. Our only experience with lodging was the Hotel Knoxville. It was a nice spot but was changing management at the time.

I remember the tower that is called the Sunsphere. SInce then, I have only driven through on the Interstate. It would be fun to visit and explore as you did!
