I visited Mark Twain’s summer cottage in Elmira NY a couple of years ago. He was an interesting character.

No matter which name he used, he’s an American treasure (probably an understatement). Who hasn’t read The adventures of Tom Sawyer or The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. nice overview of the man and his beginnings.
