I always enjoy exploring ethnic areas, particularly if there’s lots of food to try! Little Sweden looks like a great place to visit.

You know that we have roots in Pittsburg and Kansas City(my husband’s hometowns so it’s not a flyover state for us. We will surely explore Little Sweden one of these days. Only 3 hours from our places if stay. Love to see the Swedish handicraft store and sample the food!

I confess to be one of those who passed through Kansas as fast as I could on a coast-to-coast trip many years ago. If I ever find myself there again, Little Sweden sounds like just my kind of place!

You missed one of the most amazing places in Lindsborg! Bethany College has AMAZING landscapes painted by Birger Sandzen, who taught at the college. Maybe you can check it out on a future trip to Assaria, KS to go to the Renaissance Cafe, which is a wonderful restaurant in an old school.
