But long before the magic of Disneyland took shape, Walt was a small-town boy with big dreams. Our visit to the Walt Disney Hometown Museum in Marceline, Missouri, offered more than memorabilia displays—it felt like stepping into Walt’s childhood scrapbook. This isn’t just a museum filled with old trinkets; it’s a heartwarming tribute to the people and places that sparked one of the world’s most incredible imaginations.
