Did you visit the home where she was born and lived at the time of her death? A wonderful house painted green across from LaBinnah. It’s a must to visit also.

Its especially interesting as a writer to hear of how Mark Twain drew from his own experiences and the people he knew to shape his story line and characters. I’d love to visit Becky Thatcher House. It seems to be near where my great grandmother grew up so would also be a way to imagine what life was like in the area during her era. ,
