I’ve seen some of Guido Van Helten’s silo murals while traveling, and they stopped me in my tracks. His work is so powerful in small towns.

In reply to Austin Kane. Beautifully said. His work has that quiet power, doesn’t it? We stood in front of the mural for a good while just taking it all in. It’s one thing to see photos online, but standing beneath it—you feel the stories staring right back at you. Kansas has never looked more soulful.
