When I eventually get to Springfield, I want to visit the Lincoln house and the Frank Lloyd Wright house. Everything else is gravy.

To be honest, it would never have occurred to me to spend time in Springfield, Illinois. I’d love all of that Abe Lincoln history though! And the Frank Lloyd Wright house!

Wow! Springfield sounds like a truly fantastic place to visit. I think l would enjoy learning more about Abraham Lincoln. It wasn’t really something we were taught in school growing up in Africa so l find it interesting. A visit to his home and museum would be on my list. Thanks for sharing this historic city.

Indeed there is a lot to do in Springfield, Illinois. But I got so enthralled in the Presidentialamong tho Library which I consider the best among those we have seen (about 30). It truly brought Lincoln alive with holographs. It brought to life the Lincoln-Douglas debates, too, with current technology. We were even welcomed to the Lincoln home by a Lincoln double!
