Miami County Historical Museum sounds fairly focused, but sometimes they’re much less so, which makes them great fun. They’ll have an array of items that local families give, but seemingly completely random: a collection of, for example, ships in bottles or kitchen tins, from someone’s deceased relative. They just donate the collection to the local museum.
