The addition of live performances is a nice touch. It allows visitors to sit and relax to the sounds of songs that would have been commonplace in that era.

It’s the best way to bring a festival fully to life. We have a similar village in Ontario but I can’t remember ever hearing any music or seeing performers.

It was a town that they assembled from buildings moved there. The format was to recreate what a crossroads town in 1855 would look like.
