They sure did—by the thousands! It’s wild to think how far someone will go for a good story (or a quick buck). The 19th century had its fair share of Barnum-style showmanship, and the Cardiff Giant was a front-row seat to all of it. Makes you wonder what modern-day hoaxes we’re falling for, huh?
