In reply to Anna Marquez. The dome tour is free, but it’s separate from the regular guided tour—so you have to specifically request it at the visitor desk. Totally worth the climb (and the leg burn)! Just be sure to bring your walking shoes.

I had no idea you could actually go up into the dome! We’ve toured the building, but must’ve missed that part. Is it extra or do you just ask for it?
